Do I have to use the UPI ID which is linked with my Primary bank account to place an IPO application bid through Zerodha? Can I use another bank’s UPI ID?

You can use the UPI ID linked to any of the banks that currently supports UPI ASBA to place an IPO application bid through Zerodha.

The bank doesn’t need to be mapped with Zerodha as a primary or a secondary account. The only requirement is that you should be one of the account holders in the bank account linked with the UPI ID that you are using to apply for an IPO.

Note:

You cannot use the UPI ID of a bank account of a friend or a family member where you are not an account holder.
