What is IPO subscription data, and where can it be found?

The IPO subscription data is the number of shares that have been applied for in an IPO and indicates the demand for an IPO. This is tracked separately for each investor category (Institutional, Non-Institutional, Retail, etc.) and is available in real-time on the websites of the stock exchanges.

To check the bids placed on NSE, follow these steps:

  1. Visit nseindia.com/market-data/all-upcoming-issues-ipo.
  2. Select the IPO.
  3. Click on NSE Bid Details or Consolidated Bid Details from the drop-down menu under Category.

To check the bids placed on BSE, follow these steps:

  1. Visit bseindia.com/publicissue.html.
  2. Select the IPO.
  3. Click on BSE Bid Details or Cumulative Bid Details.
