Where does the maturity amount get credited once the Sovereign Gold Bond(SGB) matures?
When the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) matures, the maturity amount is credited to the bank account that is linked with the Zerodha demat account and the amount is in Indian Rupees (₹). The redemption price is determined by the simple average of closing price of gold of 999 purity of previous 3 business days from the date of repayment, published by the India Bullion and Jewelers Association Limited (IBJA).
