Why did my e-Mandate registration fail?
Your e-Mandate registration may fail if the authentication using net banking or debit card is not successful. This might happen if the authentication window is closed before credentials have been entered or if incorrect credentials are entered. The specific reason is not logged with us and would be available with your bank.
However, in such cases, you can re-initiate the mandate creation from Console as shown below:
Note: You will not be able to set up an e-Mandate if you have a current account or a joint account mapped. This restriction is in place from the respective banks' end.
