What is the Accessibility mode on Kite app?

Accessibility mode makes it easier for visually impaired clients to use the Kite app by making it more compatible with talkback and voice assistant applications.

To enable this mode, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on user ID.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Tap on Accessibility mode.


Accessibility mode disables certain transitions and updates the user interface as follows:


Normal mode Accessibility mode
Opening market depth A scroll-up is required to open the market depth.

The entire market depth opens up with a single tap.

Placing an order

A swipe is required to place an order.

An order is placed with a single tap.

Viewing holdings

A scroll-up is required to view all the details of the instrument.


The entire instrument information opens up with a single tap.


Viewing positions

A scroll-up is required to view all the details of the instrument.


The entire instrument information opens up with a single tap.


Viewing SIPs

SIP details open up a bit slowly, with a transition.


SIP details open up instantly with a single tap.


Viewing executed orders

A scroll-up is required to view all the details of the instrument.
