Why are the orders not placed when I swipe to buy/sell in the Kite mobile app? Why is there a tap to buy/sell instead of swipe?

You might not be able to place orders by swiping to buy/sell on the Kite app if the “Accessibility mode” in your Settings on the Kite app is enabled, which allows you to tap on the buy/sell button to place an order instead of swiping.

You can disable the Accessibility mode. You can swipe to place the orders after disabling the Accessibility mode. The below screenshot shows you can disable the “Accessibility mode”.

You can go Settings on your Profile in the Kite mobile app and disable the Accessibility mode.
