What documents are required to change the company name in a corporate account?

To change the company name in a corporate demat account, the following documents are required:

Type of document	Requirements
KYC form	All the authorised signatories or directors must sign the KYC form (PDF) and have the company seal. KYC form sample copy (PDF).
Certificate of incorporation	A copy of the certificate of incorporation with the new company name with the seal and signature of the authorised signatory or director.
Account opening annexures	Board resolution on the company letterhead where the change in company name was approved. Annexure A on the company letterhead (PDF). Annexure A sample copy (PDF).
Request letter from the company	A letter from the company requesting a change in name.
Account modification form	Account modification form (PDF) signed by the authorised person or director with the company seal. Account modification form sample copy (PDF).
PAN	A PAN copy of the company with the new name with seal and signature of the authorised signatory or director.
Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) certificate	MCA certificate with the seal and signature of the authorised signatory or director.
