You can transfer Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs), Government Securities (G-Secs), and State Development Loans (SDLs) from your Zerodha demat account to another demat account using online or offline process.
Online process
You can use CDSL Easiest to transfer securities online:
- CDSL to CDSL.
- CDSL to NSDL transfers (own account only): Follow the steps in From CDSL to NSDL using Easiest
Offline process
You can submit a Delivery Instruction Slip (DIS) to transfer SGBs, G-Secs, and SDLs offline. Follow the steps in How to transfer securities using a Delivery Instruction Slip .
Note: For NSDL target accounts, you can only transfer securities to your own account.
Bonafide Flag requirement for NSDL transfers
Before transferring securities to an NSDL demat account, your Bonafide Flag must be enabled and marked as "Verified". To get this done:

Individual accounts: Submit a duly filled and e-signed Bonafide Form.
Joint or non-individual accounts: Submit a physical copy of the Bonafide Form.
