Yes, the commodity account can be closed without closing the trading and demat account by following these steps:
Online
Fill up the account closure form (PDF) and digitally sign it. See, How to eSign documents? Create a ticket with the digitally signed account closure form.
Offline
On the account closure form (PDF), check the box for Zerodha Commodities Pvt Ltd and sign the form.
Write a letter confirming that the commodity account has to be closed without closing the trading and demat account. Courier the form and letter to:
