If a stock SIP is scheduled for the 5th of every month, when should the eMandate transaction be scheduled to ensure that the account is sufficiently funded?
The eMandate transaction should be scheduled a few days before the 5th of the month because the bank confirmation of the eMandate transfer can be delayed.
The bank account is debited one working day before the eMandate schedule date, for which SMS and e-mail confirmations are sent one day in advance.
