What documents are required to add a co-parcener to the HUF Zerodha account?

The table below shows the documents required to add a co-parcener to the HUF Zerodha account:

  • Account modification form (PDF) with the HUF seal and signature.
    Sample copy (PDF).
Non-individual KYC form
Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI)
  • DDPI (PDF) with the HUF seal and signatures of the Karta and the major co-parceners.
    Sample copy (PDF).
HUF declaration
PAN
  • PAN copy of the HUF with the HUF seal and signature.
  • PAN copy of the Karta with the HUF seal and signature.
  • Self-attested PAN copy of the co-parcener.
Address proof
  • The address proof of the HUF with seal and signature. The address proof can be the latest transaction copy of the HUF bank statement or passbook.
  • Address proof of the Karta with HUF seal and signature.

Once all the documents are ready, e-mail the soft copy of all the forms to [email protected]. Zerodha will review the forms and inform the client if corrections are required. After the forms are reviewed, courier the documents to:

Adding a co-parcener to the HUF Zerodha account is free of charge. The co-parcener will be added within 7 working days.
