Should I send any documents if I open my account online?

Yes, if you open an account online you will need to print out, fill & sign the below-mentioned documents and send the below forms to the Zerodha Head Office:
(You will have received a copy of your application forms on your registered email address after you e-sign them)

Note: You can download these by either logging into https://signup.zerodha.com/dashboard/kra OR requesting your sales manager for a copy.

1. POA (Power Of Attorney) for equity delivery trades
POA is a document which gives us the authorization to debit your shares from your DEMAT account whenever you sell your shares. Click here to learn more.

2. ECN (Electronic Contract Note) for enabling Commodity segment.

3. A Nomination Form in case you would like to nominate another person after opening your account.
