What documents are required to change the guardian in a minor account?

In-Person Verification (IPV)
In-Person Verification (IPV) is a mandatory process for all brokers to ensure that the person submitting the documents is the same as the individual opening the account. Both the new guardian and the minor need to complete this process.
To complete the IPV online, follow these steps:
- Visit signup.zerodha.com/ipv.

Enter the mobile number and click on
Continue.
- Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to the mobile number and click on Continue.

A 4-digit OTP will be generated and displayed on the screen.

- Show the OTP while ensuring that you and the minor are clearly visible in the camera.
- Click on Capture and then on Save IPV.
Once the documents are ready, email the soft copies of the forms to [email protected]. The documents will be reviewed for any corrections. After the review, courier the hard copies to the following address:
