Why am I unable to add/edit the discrepant holdings on Console for some of my holdings?

You will not be able to enter the trade details in the following cases:

  1. Discrepant entries won't be accepted if you are trying to enter the trade details by selecting a date that was a trading holiday.
  2. You will not be able to enter any trade details for your discrepant holdings in cases where the securities are unlisted, awaiting to list, suspended from trading, or highly illiquid. Once these securities are listed/start trading, the 12-digit ISIN of the securities with the available quantity will be displayed in your Console holdings, after which you'll be able to enter the value for these holdings.
  3. You will not be able to add or edit the trade details for your discrepant holdings if the securities have undergone corporate action in the last 10 days or are listed as an IPO in the previous 3 days. At Zerodha, all corporate actions are handled automatically. In some instances, it might take up to 10 days to make price adjustments in complicated corporate actions and 3 days for IPO issued stocks. Hence, we will block the option to add the discrepant trades in such securities for the said period. You can enter the discrepant trade details after 10 days from the corporate action and 3 days after IPO.
