What does the error 'There may be a discrepancy with this stock' shown for a stock in Kite mean?
This discrepant alert arises when the buy average of a scrip in your holding is unavailable. This happens when, you've made an off-market transfer into your Demat account, received stocks via Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPS), IPOs and corporate actions like bonus, splits etc.
In case you have made an off-market stock transfer into your Demat account, you can enter the buy average for the discrepant scrips in Console and fix this. The detailed steps are explained in

Note:
The buy averages for IPOs and corporate actions will be updated from our end and you don’t have to make any entries on Console.
