How to unpledge securities?

You can unpledge securities by following these steps:

1. Tap on the user ID.
2. Scroll down and tap on Portfolio.
3. Scroll down and tap on the pledged instrument.
4. Tap on Unpledge.
5. Enter the quantity to be unpledged.
6. Tap on Submit.

1. Visit console.zerodha.com/portfolio/holdings.
   
2. Scroll down and hover over the pledged instrument.
3. Click on options.
4. Click on Unpledge.
5. Enter the quantity to be unpledged and click on Submit.
   

If you submit an unpledge request before 3:30 PM, your stocks will be available in your demat account for trading on the following day. For requests placed after 3:30 PM, your stocks will be available in your demat account for trading the day after.

You can unpledge your pledged holdings up to the extent of the unused collateral. If you are using the collateral for positions taken, your unpledge request will be rejected. In such cases, you will need to bring in cash or square off your position in order to proceed with unpledging your pledged holdings. Before placing the unpledge request, you must ensure that any negative balance in your trading account is cleared.
