Why am I not able to add or change my bank account details?

You may not be able to add or change bank details for the following reasons.

  1. The IFSC code you entered is incorrect. A common mistake is typing "O" the letter instead of 0 the number and vice versa. The IFSC code is 11 characters, a combination of alphabets and numbers, make sure to enter them correctly.
  2. The bank branch or the IFSC code is not recognized by CDSL, the demat depository.

If you are unable to resolve the issue, please create a ticket below with the proof of the bank account, either bank statement or copy of the cheque, displaying the IFSC and MICR code. We will reach out to CDSL and get them to update the IFSC within 48 hours. You can proceed to add/edit bank details after that.
