You might be unable to add or change your bank account details due to the following reasons:
- You entered an incorrect IFSC. A common mistake is typing the alphabet O instead of the number 0 or vice versa. The IFSC is an 11-character alpha-numeric code that you need to enter correctly.
- CDSL does not recognise your bank branch or IFSC.
If you are still unable to add or change bank details, create a ticket and attach a self-attested copy of your bank statement or cheque clearly displaying the IFSC and MICR code. Zerodha will contact CDSL to update the IFSC within 48 hours, after which you can proceed with adding or changing your bank details.
