Why is the money I added through Kite not reflecting in my trading account?
Funds transferred using the payment gateway are instant and will reflect in your Zerodha account immediately. However, from 1st Aug 2018 onwards, If you transfer funds to your trading account between 12 AM & 7:30 AM, it won't reflect on your trading terminal until after 7:30 AM.
Once you enter the details on the net banking portal of your bank and authorize the payment, a window will pop up with the details and status of the transaction. If you haven’t seen it, wait for a few seconds till you see the window
You will have to click on ‘Close’ in this window because if you don’t, the fund transfer won’t be instant and can take some time for the money to reflect in your trading account.
If the money has been debited from your bank but not reflecting in your trading account, it means that the transaction status is pending from the bank. This happens if you close the browser window before you were automatically redirected back to Kite or also if the browser was abruptly closed during the transaction process.
The money will be either added to your trading account or reverted back to your linked bank account within 24 hours. In case it hasn’t - raise a ticket and our customer support representative will get back to you shortly.
