What are Exchange Traded Funds(ETF’s)?

An Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) is a basket of securities that trade on an exchange, just like a stock. ETFs are priced continually and can be bought or sold during market hours. ETFs are as simple as buying and selling any other stock on the exchange allowing investors to take advantage of intraday price movements. ETFs are held in the demat account along with other holdings. To learn more about ETF, visit zerodha.com/varsity/chapter/exchange-traded-funds-etf.
