My order did not go through and I got an error message "Maximum allowed order requests exceeded"? Why is this?
As a risk management measure, at Zerodha, a single user will not be able to place more than 3000 NRML/MIS/CNC/AMO orders and 2000 Cover orders(CO) per day. This restriction is across all segments.
There are also limitations at 200 orders per minute and 10 orders per second.
Rate limitations also apply for order modification where a maximum of 25 modifications are allowed per order.
