Why are my Kite alerts disabled?

Alerts on Kite may be disabled due to the following reasons:

  1. When the alert condition is met. For example: If you had set a condition for an alert when the LTP of SBIN crosses 449, and the condition is met, you will get notified and the alert is disabled.
  2. If the instrument for which you have set the alert gets delisted , suspended or there is a series change.
  3. If the stock for which the alert is set is undergoing a corporate action like a bonus issue, stock split etc. See Corporate actions.
  4. If the derivative contract has expired and the contract is no longer valid.

Note: An email notification is sent when your alert is disabled.
