Why are the Kite alerts disabled?
Alerts on Kite may be disabled due to the following reasons:
- When the alert condition is met, for instance, if a condition has been set for an alert when the LTP of SBIN crosses 449, and the condition is met, clients will receive a notification, and the alert will be disabled.
- If the instrument for which the alert has been set gets delisted, suspended, or undergoes a series change.
- If there’s a corporate action for the instrument that changes the price by more than 2%, such as extraordinary dividends, bonuses, splits, or rights issues.
- When the derivative contract has expired and is no longer valid.
-
Kite alerts have a validity period of 365 days and will be automatically disabled after this period unless triggered or manually disabled earlier.
