I’m trying to place an order in MCX but i’m getting an error “RMS:Blocked for mcx_fo ALUMINIUM DEC FUT block type: ALL” Why is this?
RMS:Blocked for mcx_fo ALUMINIUM [far month contract] FUT block type: ALL.
Orders can’t be placed in far-month contracts in commodities, only in the current month & near month. If an order is placed it will get rejected & the above error will be displayed.
The far month contracts lack liquidity & are highly volatile, making them extremely risky to trade in, due to which the RMS team have blocked them.
