What does the P symbol indicate on the Kite Holdings page?

The P symbol on the holdings page indicates the number of shares pledged from the holdings of a particular instrument. The QTY column shows the total number of shares in the demat account after the shares have been pledged.

Example scenario

  1. The total number of shares held for RELIANCE is 127.
  2. After pledging 50 shares, the P symbol displays the 50 pledged quantity.
  3. The remaining 77 shares are displayed under Qty.
