1. Visit signup.zerodha.com/kite/login.
2. Click on Continue with Kite and log in using Zerodha credentials.
3. Click on Update details as per Aadhaar.
4. Click on Link your Digilocker with Zerodha.
5. Link the Digilocker to Zerodha using Aadhaar, OTP and the 6-digit Digilocker Security pin.
   
6. Click on Proceed.
7. Fill in the FATCA declaration.
8. Tick the checkboxes and click on Continue.
9. Complete the IPV. See What is In-Person Verification (IPV), and why is it required? And click on Save.
10. Upload a copy of the PAN.
11. Click on e-sign KYC.
12. Click on Proceed to e-sign.
13. Click on Sign now.
14. Tick the checkboxes and enter the Aadhaar number and OTP.
    

Marital status, occupation and PEP (see Who is a politically exposed person? ) can be updated using the existing Aadhaar details. To update the details, follow these steps:

1. Visit signup.zerodha.com/kite/login.
2. Click on Proceed with same details.
3. Fill in the FATCA declaration and click on Continue.
4. Complete the IPV. See What is In-Person Verification (IPV), and why is it required?

If the Aadhaar is not linked to a mobile number and if the correct details are not updated, fill out the account modification and KYC form (PDF) and send it along with a self-attested copy of the following:

• PAN card.
• Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhaar card as address proof.

If Aadhaar is being submitted as proof, ensure that a masked Aadhaar is submitted, i.e., black out the first 8 digits of the Aadhaar number. Only the last four digits should be visible. To download a masked Aadhaar online, visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ and tick the Do you want a masked Aadhaar? option while downloading Aadhaar.
