How to add money on Kite app if your UPI app is on a different device?

You can add money to your Zerodha account through the Kite app even if your UPI app is installed on a different device. You will need to validate the transfer on the device where your UPI app is installed.

Steps to add money

  1. Tap on Add funds.
  2. Enter the amount you want to transfer and tap on Netbanking.
  3. Tap on UPI and enter your UPI ID.
  4. Validate the transfer on your UPI app on the other device.

Things to keep in mind

  • UPI transfers have a limit of ₹2,00,000 per day. Your bank may have further restrictions on the amount per transaction. Check with your bank for specific limits.
  • If you transfer funds between 12 AM and 7:30 AM, they will not reflect in your Zerodha account until after 7:30 AM.
  • You can only transfer funds from a UPI ID linked to your bank account registered with Zerodha.
