You can add money to your Zerodha account through the Kite app even if your UPI app is installed on a different device. You will need to validate the transfer on the device where your UPI app is installed.
Steps to add money
- Tap on Add funds.
- Enter the amount you want to transfer and tap on Netbanking.
- Tap on UPI and enter your UPI ID.
- Validate the transfer on your UPI app on the other device.
Things to keep in mind
- UPI transfers have a limit of ₹2,00,000 per day. Your bank may have further restrictions on the amount per transaction. Check with your bank for specific limits.
- If you transfer funds between 12 AM and 7:30 AM, they will not reflect in your Zerodha account until after 7:30 AM.
- You can only transfer funds from a UPI ID linked to your bank account registered with Zerodha.
