Your Coin account is activated automatically when you have a Zerodha demat account. You don't need to take any action to activate Coin.
Why your Coin account might appear inactive
Your Coin account may show as inactive in these situations:
- Recently opened account: You opened your Zerodha account recently, and Coin takes up to 24 hours to activate automatically after account opening. You don't need to take any action.
- Account opened before September 15, 2015: Your demat account is with IL&FS. You need to switch your demat account from IL&FS to Zerodha to activate Coin.

You opened your Zerodha trading account without opening a demat account. You must open a Zerodha demat account to activate Coin.
