What does the "Max quantity per order for Equity is 1,00,000." error mean?

Max quantity per order for Equity is 1,00,000. Try splitting into multiple orders or use basket orders.

In the case of equity trades, the maximum limit is 1,00,000 shares in a single order (subject to change at the discretion of our RMS team). You will need to place multiple orders to fill positions larger than the maximum limit. 

Alternatively, you can use the basket feature on Kite for placing orders exceeding the maximum limit. You can add multiple orders of your scrip within the permissible quantity limits and execute the basket of orders together as shown below:
