How can I convert physical SGBs purchased from banks and other financial intermediaries?

You can convert your physical SGBs to demat form by submitting a dematerialisation request to your issuer banker or financial intermediary.

Conversion process

1. Submit your dematerialisation request to the bank or financial intermediary where you purchased the SGBs.
2. Provide a copy of your Client Master Report (CMR) attested by your Depository Participant (DP).
3. The bank or intermediary will upload the data to RBI's e-Kuber portal to process your request.
