How to check if the POA or DDPI is active or inactive for an account?

You can check if your POA or DDPI is active or inactive by following these steps:

Kite app

1. Tap on your user ID.
2. Tap on Profile.

Kite web

1. Log in to Kite.
2. Click on the client ID.
3. Click on My Profile.

You can use the CDSL TPIN to authorise the debit of securities if you have opened your account online. However, you can submit Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI) if you wish to avoid CDSL TPIN while selling your securities.
