How can the POA mapped to Zerodha be revoked?

To revoke the Power of Attorney (POA)/ Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI) mapped to Zerodha, follow these steps:

Online method

If the account holder’s Aadhaar is linked to a mobile number, the POA can be revoked by sending an e-Signed POA revocation form (PDF). To know how to e-sign the form, See How can I esign documents on Digio?

Only individual account holders can use the e-sign process. Ensure the following:

  • Print the POA revocation form, fill it along with the signature, scan it and then e-Sign the form.
  • The form should be vertically aligned while creating the ticket.

After the POA revocation form is filled and e-signed, submit it by creating a ticket.

If the account holder's Aadhaar is not linked with a mobile number or if a client is a non-individual or joint account holder, the offline method must be used.
