If you have closed your positions today, you cannot withdraw the funds immediately since exchanges in India follow a T+1 rolling settlement cycle.
Same-day withdrawal conditions
If you have not traded during the day, have no open positions, have not placed an instant withdrawal request and have sufficient balance on the day of withdrawal, Zerodha will process your withdrawal request on the same day. If you place your request before 5 PM, your money will be credited to your bank account on the same day. However, if you place your request after 5 PM, your money will be credited on the next day.
Example scenario
- You sell shares on Monday.
- The funds from your sale are credited the next day, i.e. Tuesday.

If you execute no additional trades and submit a fund withdrawal request, Zerodha will credit the funds by the end of the same day, i.e. Tuesday.
