Why can't I see the shares I acquired from ESOP under holdings on Kite?
Shares received from ESOP (Employee Stock Options) will have a lock-in period, which means, you will not be allowed to sell them until the lock-in duration is over. This is why you won't see the shares on Kite.
However, the shares will actually be present in your demat account. You'll be able to see them in the demat holding statement (Statement of Transaction) and you can use the same for verification and reconciliation purposes.
