What is the procedure to change my signature at Zerodha?

If you have changed your signature, you will have to update the same on Zerodha's records. The procedure to do so is as follows -

1. Download and print out the account modification form . Under details - write - 'Change of signature', mention the 'Type of change' - as Modification and in the 'Existing details' - sign with your old signature and in the 'New details' sign with your new signature. Also, sign inside the 'F' box with your new signature. [refer the image below]

2. Fill up the KYC form . Use your new signature wherever applicable in the form and also Sign across your attached photo.

3. Procure a letter from your banker acknowledging the change in your signature. The letter must have the bankers seal & signature along with your new signature. The banker letter format has been shown here .

4. Send the above documents to the following address, along with a photocopy of your PAN Card and an address proof, both of these have to be self-attested with your new signature.

You will be charged Rs 25+GST for the modification.
