Why is my demat account frozen?
The demat account can be frozen for multiple reasons. The top reasons are:
- ITO Attachment
- SEBI DirectiveOrder from CBI / Police
- Order from Special Recovery Officer
- KYC deficiency reported by CDSL
- Mandatory 6 KYC Non-Compliant Account
- KYC Verification Non-Compliant Account
- Minor Attained Majority
- Trading Window Closure Period
If the demat account is frozen for any other reason, create a ticket.
