Your demat account will receive the stock by the next trading day (T+1 day) when stock options that are in the money (ITM) and futures positions expire and result in physical settlement. For instance, if the F&O expiry is on Tuesday, you will receive the delivery by Wednesday evening.
If there is a counterparty short delivery, the stocks may be credited up to 2 working days after expiry. You may receive partial delivery, with the remaining quantity credited on T+2. If the exchange cannot purchase shares in the Auction market, your position may be fully or partially cash settled.
