If an F&O position results in taking delivery of the stock, when will the stocks show up on Kite?

Your demat account will receive the stock by the next trading day (T+1 day) when stock options that are in the money (ITM) and futures positions expire and result in physical settlement. For instance, if the F&O expiry is on Tuesday, you will receive the delivery by Wednesday evening.

If there is a counterparty short delivery, the stocks may be credited up to 2 working days after expiry. You may receive partial delivery, with the remaining quantity credited on T+2. If the exchange cannot purchase shares in the Auction market, your position may be fully or partially cash settled.

The client shall be responsible for squaring off all open positions. While Zerodha may square off positions, it is under no obligation to do so. The selection and sequence of such square-offs are at Zerodha's sole discretion. Zerodha shall not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from exercising or not exercising this right.
