Your mandate registration may fail due to the following reasons:
- Intermittent issue, Process not completed, Issue at bank's end - Intermittent issues on the bank or NPCI page can cause your mandate registration to fail. In such cases, you need to retry the registration process. Digio disables certain banks from mandate registration, and if you create mandates from such banks, your registration will fail. The list of disabled banks may change over time.
- Authentication failure - Your mandate registration may fail if your authentication using net banking or debit card is not successful. Failure can also occur if you close the authentication window before entering your credentials or if you enter incorrect credentials. Zerodha will not know the specific reason for the failure; only your bank will.
If your mandate registration has failed, you cannot track it on the mandate page, as the system removes it.
