You can link your registered bank accounts and make UPI payments directly within the Coin app without switching to external UPI payment applications. This allows you to complete your mutual fund investments seamlessly in one place. However, before you can use in-app UPI, you need to set up UPI on Coin app.
Making payments with in-app UPI
Once you set up UPI on your Coin app, you can make payments for mutual fund purchases by entering your UPI PIN:
- Select the mutual fund scheme and tap on Buy.
- Enter investment amount.
- The payment method is set as UPI by default.
- Tap on Buy.
- Tap on Invest and then on Pay now.
- Enter the UPI PIN for the successful payment.
To track your orders and their status, tap on Investments and then on Orders.
Once you set up in-app UPI, a new UPI handle with Yes Bank is created. You can only use this handle to make investments on the Coin app.
