What does the event tag next to a stock on marketwatch or holding indicate?

The event tag alerts you to scheduled events that may impact a stock's price. Kite displays this tag when a corporate action record date, financial results, or annual general meeting occurs within the next three days, and on the day following the event.

The event tag helps you stay aware of information that can affect the price of stocks you trade or hold. For indices, you receive alerts for macro events such as Reserve Bank of India (RBI) policy announcements and inflation numbers.

Example: If Kotak Bank announces an earnings release that may impact the stock price, the event tag alerts you to this information when you are trading Kotak Bank.

How to check scheduled events

1. Click on More and then on Fundamentals in the Marketwatch.

2. Track all stock-specific events in the popup window within the next three trading days.
