How to close your NSDL demat account?

You can only close your NSDL demat account through an offline process. You need to courier the signed account closure form (PDF) to Zerodha, and your account will be closed within 2 working days.

Closure-cum-transfer

You can opt for closure-cum-transfer with no additional charges. This process transfers your holdings to another demat account while closing your Zerodha account. Follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for closure cum transfer. Depositories mandate this, and it is applicable to all brokers.

  3. Courier the signed form to:

Zerodha Customer Support Centre
192A 4th Floor,
Kalyani Vista, 3rd Main Road,
JP Nagar 4th Phase,

You will receive an email notification at your registered email address once your account is closed.
