You can add or modify nominees in your NSDL Zerodha demat account by couriering the required forms to Zerodha. The process varies depending on whether you want to add, modify, or remove nominees.
Add nominees to your account
To add nominees to your Zerodha account:
- Download and fill out the nomination form (PDF).
- Courier the filled form to Zerodha office.

Modify existing nominee details
If you need to add an additional nominee or change existing nominee information:
- Download and fill out the account modification form (PDF).
- Download and fill out the nomination form (PDF).
- Courier both forms to Zerodha office.
Remove nominees from your account
If you want to remove your nominee:
- Download and fill out the account modification form (PDF).
- Download and fill out Annexure 1B (PDF).
- Courier both forms to Zerodha office.

Things to keep in mind

Zerodha charges ₹25 + 18% GST for account modifications.
- The wet signature on the forms must match the signature recorded with the NSDL demat account, and all holders must sign for joint accounts.
- Up to 3 nominees can be added with specific percentage allocations.
- Non-individual accounts cannot add nominees.
