Why am I getting a “wrong DOB entered” error while opening an account with Zerodha?

The wrong DOB entered error occurs because the date of birth is incorrectly updated in the records of the KYC Registration Agency (KRA). While opening an account, Zerodha fetches the details from the KRA for verifying the Know Your Customer (KYC) details on the signup page, and if there’s a mismatch between the data fetched from KRA and the data entered, it will show the error Date of birth mismatch.
