Starting June 1, if you refer someone who opens an account and starts trading, you'll earn 10% of the brokerage they generate, plus 300 reward points. The 300 reward points have always been part of the program. Brokerage sharing was paused in August 2024 following an
exchange circular
and is live again.
Your referral may not be mapped for these reasons:
- If a prospect has registered with Zerodha by entering their contact details on the Zerodha website and later completes the account opening process using the referral link.
- A referral is valid for 60 days. If the referral opens an account after this, the referral mapping will not be done.
- Referral mapping will not be applicable for clients who close and reopen their accounts.

How to check your referral status
You can view your referral list and their account opening status:
- Login to console.zerodha.com.
- Click on the Client ID.
- Click on Rewards & referrals.
- Click on View Referrals.
