Can funds be transferred using IMPS, NEFT, RTGS or cheque from bank accounts not linked to the Zerodha account?

As per the SEBI mandate, funds can be transferred only from bank accounts linked to the Zerodha account. Any funds transferred through IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, or cheque from a bank account are refunded to the source bank account within 24-48 hours. If the reversal does not occur within this timeframe, please create a ticket and attach a bank statement showing the transaction details.

Multiple bank accounts can be linked to a Zerodha account, i.e., one primary bank account and two secondary bank accounts. The primary bank account can be used to add and withdraw funds to and from the Zerodha account. However, the secondary bank accounts can only be used to add funds to the Zerodha account and cannot be used for withdrawals. To learn how to change the primary bank account, see How to change the primary bank account? To learn how to add a secondary bank account, see How to add a secondary bank account to a Zerodha account?
