An AMC SIP (Asset Management Company Systematic Investment Plan) is a systematic investment plan that you set up directly with the fund house through Coin as your interface. Unlike regular SIPs managed by Zerodha, AMC SIPs are registered and maintained directly by the Asset Management Company (AMC).
How to set up AMC SIPs on Coin app
To set up an AMC SIP on the Coin app:
- Select your desired fund, tap on ⋮ and then on SIP .
- Tap on the checkbox for AMC SIP .
- Select a Mandate (optional).
- Enter your Instalment amount and select your preferred Date .
- Tap on Create AMC SIP and then tap on Create .
How to set up AMC SIPs on Coin web
To set up an AMC SIP on Coin web:

- Search for your desired fund and click on SIP.
- Click on the checkbox for AMC SIP.
- Enter your Instalment Amount.
- Enter your preferred Frequency and Date.
- Click on Create SIP and then click on Confirm.
Things to keep in mind
- You must set up your Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) at least 2 days before your preferred execution date to ensure it starts within the current month. For example, if you want your SIP to execute on the 5th of each month, you need to set it up on or before the 2nd of the current month. If you set up your SIP on the 3rd with an execution date of the 5th, it will start from the next month.
- BSE sends you an email to your registered email address confirming successful registration and providing your SIP registration number when you create an AMC SIP.
- The applicable NAV depends on when your funds are credited to ICCL's bank account.
- You can complete your SIP payments from the Pending payments section if you haven't linked a mandate to your SIP.
- Your AMC determines the minimum investment amount for AMC SIPs. You cannot modify, pause, or step up an AMC SIP since the system creates AMC SIPs directly with the AMC rather than internally with your account. You must delete or cancel your AMC SIPs at least 2 days before the next instalment date.
