How NEFT/RTGS payments are processed

Your funds are transferred on a First In First Out (FIFO) basis for mutual fund payments.

Example scenario:

  1. You place two mutual fund orders.
  2. Your first order is for ₹2,00,000 and your second for ₹8,00,000.
  3. Your available funds are ₹9,00,000.
  4. Your order for ₹2,00,000 will be processed successfully based on FIFO, but your order for ₹8,00,000 will be rejected since your available funds will only be ₹7,00,000.
