  1. Visit Kite.
  2. Click on Forgot user ID or password?
  3. Enter the User ID and PAN.
  4. Select Receive on E-mail or SMS. If E-mail is selected, enter the registered email ID and captcha and click on Reset. If SMS is selected, enter the registered mobile number and captcha and click on Reset.
  5. Enter the OTP and click on Continue.
  6. Enter the new password and click on Continue.
  7. Select Method 2: External authenticator and click on Setup TOTP.
  8. Set up an external authenticator such as Google authenticator. To download, visit Google Playstore (WEB) or App store (WEB).
  9. Click on Can’t scan? Copy key.
  10. Open the authenticator and paste the copied key.
  11. Set up the TOTP on Authy or the external authenticator.
  12. In the Enter the 6 digit app TOTP field, enter the TOTP generated on Authy and click on Continue.
  13. The password will be reset. Click on Login here to continue.
  14. Login to Kite using TOTP.

If you use Authy as your authenticator, your TOTP tokens will be backed up and available across devices. This means you can access your TOTP codes from other devices with Authy installed, even if you lose access to your primary device.
