After you submit your IPO application, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) sends the mandate request. Normally, you should receive this within an hour.
If you don't receive the mandate within an hour
You should delete and resubmit your application. However, before resubmitting, check the following:
- You entered the correct UPI ID
- Your UPI app is updated to the latest available version
- Your UPI app and bank support IPO bids (visit npci.org.in/what-we-do/ipo/live-partners )
- You received the mandate request, but there was no notification on your UPI app
Sometimes, your mandate might take until the close of the day to arrive, and the status may not reflect on Kite. As long as your funds are held in your bank for a valid application, the registrar and transfer agent (RTA) will assess your bid for allotment.
