Why does the colour on bar charts and volume bars not match sometimes?

The colour of volume bars can be different from a candle chart due to differences in the colour selection criteria. The colour of candles is decided based on the following criteria:

1. If the previous closing value is less than or equal to the current closing value, the candlestick is green.
2. If the previous closing value is higher than the current closing value, the candlestick is red.

On the other hand, the colour of volume bars is decided based on the following criteria:

1. If the close was less than the open, you would get a red volume bar
2. If the close was higher than the open, you would get a green volume bar

Accordingly, if the previous timeframe's close is less than or equal to the current timeframe's closing and the current close is lower than the opening value, you would get a green candlestick & a red volume bar and vice-versa.
