You can redeem all or part of your mutual fund holdings directly from Coin.
On Coin app
- Tap on Investments.
- Tap on the mutual fund you want to redeem and then on the context menu button.
- Tap on Redeem.
- Enter the number of units you want to redeem or select Redeem all units to redeem your complete holding, and then tap on Redeem.
- Tap on Redeem again to confirm. Non-DDPI/POA clients will have to authorise the units at CDSL to complete the redemption.
On Coin web
- Click on the Mutual funds.
- Hover over the fund from the Holdings section and click on the context menu.
- Click on Redeem.

Redeem.
- Click on Confirm. Non-DDPI/POA clients will have to authorise the units at CDSL to complete the redemption.
Offline
NRI clients residing in the US or Canada, and for any mutual fund holdings where only physical transactions are supported, online redemption orders cannot be placed on Coin. You must submit an offline Redemption Request Form (RRF) (PDF). After filling out the form, send a soft copy by creating a ticket to verify and confirm if the form is filled out correctly.

Things to keep in mind
- As per the scheme’s settlement timeline, once BSE Clearing Limited (BSECL) processes the payout, the funds will be credited to the linked bank account within 24 working hours, depending on the bank.
- You can cancel your orders directly for both buy and sell transactions. For redemption orders, you can cancel until 3 PM on the same day. For buy orders, you can cancel after payment, but only for a limited time before the system processes your order. If the payment is completed for the order, you will receive the refund in your bank account within 5 working days.
- Redemption orders cannot be placed on a mutual fund's non-business day.
