Your drawings can disappear from ChartIQ charts for the following reasons:
- Browser cache clearing: Your drawings get deleted when you clear your browser cache, as ChartIQ stores all drawings locally in your browser.
- Device or browser changes: You cannot access your drawings when you switch to a different browser, computer, or mobile device, since drawings are stored locally on each device.
- Storage limit reached: ChartIQ saves drawings for a maximum of 10 instruments. When you create a drawing on an 11th instrument, the system automatically replaces your first saved drawing.
- Different user login: Your drawings get deleted when you log into Kite with a different user ID on the same browser, as the cache clears from the previous account.
- Browser privacy settings: Your drawings disappear when you close your browser if you have selected "Keep local data only until you quit your browser" in your browser settings.
ChartIQ automatically saves all your chart drawings in your browser cache. When you reopen a chart where you previously created drawings, they load automatically without any manual action required.
